A reclaimed wooden crate is reimagined into a functional artwork, merging sport and sculpture. The surface is hand-painted with bold pink skeleton figures outlined in black, contrasted with an industrial “Danger: Construction Area – Keep Out” sign. A mounted basketball hoop transforms the piece into an object of play while questioning themes of restriction, resilience, and survival. Both interactive and contemplative, this sculpture blurs the line between utility and art.
